Factorial, the European scaleup that has developed an all-in-one platform for business management, and which raised $120 million in funding in March 2025, has announced that it has exceeded $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR), achieving its goal several months ahead of schedule. Factorial has now set itself the ambitious goal of reaching $1 billion in ARR within the next five years.
Factorial employs over 1,400 people globally, 200 of whom are Italian. In Italy, the company has over 1,500 customers, including AEB, Idee per Viaggiare, Oggi Lavoro, Subdued, Ludoil and MINT. The company collaborates with a network of 30 local partners, two leading distributors such as V-Valley and TD Synnex, and is a Microsoft technology partner. Globally, the company serves over 14,000 customers in 10 countries. In 2025, it hired over 500 new people and opened offices across Europe.
Turnover reflects the value that a company brings to its customers. The 100 million figure is the result of helping thousands of businesses across Europe to become more productive and competitive. Now we are aiming for the next milestone: one billion,” says Jordi Romero, co-founder of the company, in a statement.
Growth was boosted by General Catalyst’s £140 million investment, which was completed in early 2025, strengthening international expansion and consolidating Factorial’s position as a platform capable of serving customers across the continent. A significant part of this acceleration came from Italy, demonstrating the quality of the local market and the desire of Italian companies to become more competitive. A key step was the evolution of the product: from a simple HR management tool to a complete suite for business management, to the current AI-powered platform, capable of providing instant access to data and automating critical processes.
Factorial’s growth stems from its ability to anticipate the needs of its Italian customers. Every product, from flexible remuneration to the Talent and Finance suites, is designed to simplify their work. And this is just the beginning: in the coming weeks, we will launch Factorial ONE, a true paradigm shift and the only artificial intelligence agent capable of understanding every aspect of the business. It’s a launch that will set a new standard for AI applied to work. While others chase productivity, Factorial uses AI to multiply the potential of teams,” says Bernat Farrero, co-founder of Factorial (pictured with Romero).
The company’s growth trajectory in Italy will be summarised and discussed publicly at the Factorial Summit, scheduled to take place in Milan, which will bring together over 200 professionals, managers and innovators.
